We are looking for a
Nursery Apprentice to join our Merlin House, Haywards Heath team at Kiddie Capers Childcare. Our apprenticeships let you earn while you learn in a supportive environment, gaining valuable skills and experience along the way. Salary & Hours: £8.00 to £12.71 per hour (depending on age)
35 hours - Monday-Friday
- Must be 16 years or older (this is due to staff-to-child ratio regulations in our nurseries)
- Achieved a GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths
- A genuine interest in working with children
- Good communication skills and a positive, caring attitude
- Must complete necessary background checks (DBS/Right to Work)
- Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Organise activities, both inside and outside the nursery, which encourage creativity development, co-ordination, independence, self-expression and learning through play.
- Engage with children in play-based learning activities to promote their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, nap times and outdoor play.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to provide the best possible care and support for each child.
