Salary - £26,230 with full‑time paid employment from day one.
Position – This is a permanent position with opportunities to progress internally over time.
Hours – Working Hours / Shift Patterns: You will work 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, on a rotational shift pattern between 08:00 and 19:00.
Location - Our fantastic Bexhill office, which is next to the seafront, and only a short walk from Collington station.
Entry Requirements – Open to anyone that has completed an A level within the last 2 years, grade C or above.

What is the role of a Claims Handler? - Our team supports customers when they need us the most. Our role is to be there for them following an incident and then to support their claims journey. The First Notification of Loss (FNOL) team are there to help customers log their claim and help them to navigate the process. We aim to do this by providing a great experience and being empathetic to their situation.
As a Claims Handler, you’re not only dealing with customers over the phone, you will also support elements of the first three days of their claim. Our teams are target focused and we balance a high-performance culture with high engagement and great opportunities to develop within Hastings.

Qualifications - This is a Level 3 apprenticeship that includes a respected CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualification a nationally recognised benchmark in the industry.
You’ll gain high‑quality, career‑focused learning while earning a full salary in a permanent position. Many apprentices progress onto Level 4 programmes (equivalent to the first year of a degree).
