As a principal contractor, we deliver complex infrastructure works through a combination of direct delivery teams, supply chainpartnersand specialist subcontractors.
This apprenticeship role is focused on supporting the commercial delivery of overhead line and associatedcivilsworks for major utility infrastructure projects.
We are looking for a Quantity Surveying Apprentice to join our commercial team supporting the delivery of overhead line andcivilsprojects.
This is an opportunity to start your career with a principal contractor, gaining practical experience while working towards arecognisedqualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
You will support the commercial team across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage planning and procurement through to project delivery, changemanagementand final account settlement.
The purpose of this apprenticeship is to develop your knowledge,skillsandbehavioursso that you can progress into a Quantity Surveying role within a principal contractor environment.
You will learn how to support the commercial management of infrastructure works by helping tomonitorcosts, assess applications for payment, manage subcontractors,assistwith valuations,maintainrecordsand contribute to reporting and change control.
Previouswork experience, workplacementor study related to construction, engineering,surveyingor the built environment.
