Based at our regional office in Maryport, with set days out in the community and to attend college
Pay, £21,216 (under 20) - £24,853 (21 and over)
Hours, 37.5 hours per week
24 months fixed term, with opportunities to progress

About the role
You’ll be a valued member of the team, learning by doing and supporting colleagues with meaningful, hands-on work. You’ll be trusted with real responsibilities while being fully supported as you develop your skills and confidence.
You’ll learn how to:
Carry out a range of routine repairs and maintenance tasks in homes
Develop practical skills using tools, materials and equipment safely and correctly
Work safely, following health and safety and safe systems of work
Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues through clear, respectful communication
Grow your knowledge of property maintenance, building construction and repair techniques while learning on the job.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who:
Achieved GCSEs in English and Mathematics grades 9-3 (A*-D)
Are IT confident, or at the very least have a basic understanding
Are keen to learn and develop new skills for example, communication both, verbal and written
Share our values, want to make a difference, and thrive in a team environment
Are organised, curious and willing to ask questions
