As a Trainee Service DeskSupport Technician,you’llprovide first-line IT support to colleagues and be the first point of contact when they need help with technology.
You’lllearn how toidentifyand fix common IT issues, keepaccuraterecords, and work with other teams to resolve more complex problems. Your role will help ensure colleagues can get back to work quickly and have a positive experience.
You’llalso spend time shadowing experienced analysts, including at the Tech Bar, to learn how to assess and resolve hardware and software issues.
Throughout the apprenticeship,you’lldevelop skills in customer service, problem-solving, and clear communication.You’llalso gain an understanding of how IT service teams work, including priorities, service standards, and continuous improvement.You’llbe trained to use tools such as remote support software and the organisation’s IT service system.
You'llalso be attending college to complete aLevel3Information CommunicationsTechnicianqualification.
