About the team:
The Glasgow Agency team specialises in all agency related work, including leasing, selling and acquiring, of both Industrial/Logistics space and Office space across Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotland. Our client base is wide ranging, varying from large international real estate funds, to smaller independent private clients based locally.
The team currently comprises 3x Directors, 1x Associate Director and a Team Administrator. The Apprentice Surveyor will be supporting all members of the team across a wide range of instructions/clients.
Day to day duties:
Arranging and carrying out viewings for properties that Savills are marketing
Keeping Enquiry and Availability schedules updated
Updating and maintain online advertising websites
Promote Savills and their properties through appropriate social media channels
Actively pursue leads to achieve property transactions
Liaise with colleagues at Savills and other firms to ascertain market trends/developments
Regularly keep clients up to date on their properties
Prepare marketing material (brochures etc.) for our properties
Inspect/measure properties
Provide assistance to all members of the team as and when required

Training:
On the job training is provided to ensure all the required knowledge and experience is obtained throughout the apprenticeship to qualify successfully.
Once you've successfully passed your APC and become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, you'll continue to receive training and career development opportunities.
We will provide the full suite of Savills training programme including mandatory health and safety and office training, as well as specific training relevant to your role.
We ensure that your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is current and that all staff are fully up to date with changes to legislation and business needs.

Working Week:
Five full days in the office, working hours 9:00am to 5:30pm. You will spend around 20% of your time studying through block‑release learning at University. University will be attended via three fortnightly blocks across the academic year during your 4-years of University.

Entry requirements:
Scottish National 5 English and Maths at grade C are mandatory. Applicants must also hold a minimum of CCCC at Scottish Higher (or equivalent). You may not apply if you are currently studying for or already have a degree.
You must be eligible to live, work and remain in the UK, within 1 hour’s commute of the office you are applying to.
A full, valid driving licence and access to a car for business use are essential.
