Treemark Traditional Furniture and Kitchens create bespoke furniture for luxury residences; they are seeking an Apprentice furniture maker to join their bespoke furniture team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about furniture making and eager to learn the intricacies of the trade and join the team. You will work alongside master crafts people, perfecting your joinery skills and become a valued member of the team.
As an Apprentice furniture Maker, you will:
Learn how to make all types of bespoke furniture, cabinetry and interior joinery items
You will be required to work to the very highest standards of quality and craftmanship
Delivering these items to meet the timescales and project deadlines set
Learn how to use woodworking machines, power tools, and hand tools safely and comply with Health & Safety regulations.
Learn how to read and accurately interpreting working drawings
Learn how to manufacturer both free-standing furniture and larger fitted projects such as kitchens
Maintain a clean workspace and manage general labouring duties
Gain organisational skills
Collaborate within a team environment
Work independently, using initiative to solve challenges

Comprehensive Furniture Manufacturing Training:
During your Standard Level 2 Furniture Manufacturing apprenticeship programme you will receive training both off and on the job. You will be trained at the employers within the workplace and at WEBS Training in Nottingham on a weekly basis.
You will learn the underpinning knowledge that runs alongside your practical elements of the training. WEBS Training aim to build on the skills you already have so you reach your full potential both personally and professionally.
Training will be provided in all areas of Furniture Manufacturing to ensure you can create practical and bespoke furniture using both traditional and modern techniques to produce aesthetically pleasing and fit for purpose products.
If you have already achieved GCSE maths and English at Grade 4/C or above or have equivalent qualification you will be exempt from undertaking Functional Skills, however English and maths support will be provided for all apprentices throughout the length of their programme.
