We seek a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice vehicle technician/mechanic to join our established team at M D Auto Care Ltd.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to start your career in the motor trade, working with experienced technicians in a busy, professional workshop while earning a recognised automotive qualification.
You will gain hands-on experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing various vehicles, developing the skills and standards needed to become a fully qualified technician.

Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Attend college and complete all coursework required as part of the apprenticeship
- Learn to service, maintain, and repair vehicles under supervision
- Develop diagnostic and mechanical skills
Workshop support
- Assist qualified technicians with servicing and repairs
- Prepare vehicles for work and carry out basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain tools and equipment responsibly
- Keep the workshop clean, safe and organised
Customer & Team Collaboration
- Support the team in delivering high-quality workmanship
- Learn to understand repair recommendations and vehicle safety standards
- Contribute to a positive and professional workshop environment
About You
Essential
- Be 16 years or over
- Genuine interest in the motor trade and vehicle repair
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Reliable, professional, and committed
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good attention to detail
Desirable
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Basic mechanical knowledge or previous work experience
- A full UK driving licence or working towards
